Glass House
Kitchen Looking To Dining
The external walls of the existing house were removed and replaced with a custom built structural timber skeletal frame to support the existing roof. These walls frames were then sheeted with double glazing externally. This allows maximum light penetration through the glass with minimal heat gain/loss through the double glazing. The theme of the open structural timber frame is continued through the kitchen cabinet door and shelving layout. Polished concrete benchtop for maximum durability. Recessed lines in the cabinets continue through to plasterboard hallway.
